Rue Bennett's relapse is an event that occurred in "And Salt the Earth Behind You".

History

Season 1

"And Salt the Earth Behind You"

After Rue and Jules decide to leave town at the winter formal, the couple goes to the Vaughn house so that Jules can pack. There, Rue changes her mind, but Jules presses on that they should go.

When Rue decides not to go, Jules still leaves East Highland. This upsets Rue and she walks home, crying as she loses the love of her life. It is when Rue is back home that she snorts a line of drugs and relapses.

As Rue slowly gets high again, she stumbles into the kitchen and then falls into a group of people in all red. After they throw Rue around, she finally collapses. Leaving the audience in awe and confusion.
