History

Season 1

The pair started off as lab partners, with Ethan trying to make a move on Kat. At Halloween, Ethan reveals that he a virgin in which Kat replies that she doesn't have sex with virgins.

Season 2

In "A Thousand Little Trees of Blood" Kat and Ethan are on a date and while talking about their relationship, Kat states she has a brain disorder, which confuses Ethan. Kat says she doesn't have much time left and Ethan says she's lying. She tries to revert the conversation to they don't have a good relationship, which she uses Ethan's skepticisms. He says that what she's doing is her being shitty, then she tells him he's gaslighting her. He then says they need to break up, because Kat isn't what he expected and walks away.
