In between the airing of the first and second seasons of Euphoria, two special episodes were released. Filmed during the COVID-19 pandemic, the first of these specials, titled "Trouble Don't Last Always", was released on December 6, 2020 on HBO. The second special, titled "Fuck Anyone Who's Not a Sea Blob", was released on January 24, 2021.

The two episodes earned Euphoria three Emmy nominations.
