Biography

Early life

Ethan is known to have a sister. At the carnival in "Shook Ones Pt. II", a tall girl asks Ethan to tell his sister to cover her shift on Wednesday due to having an upcoming first-time meeting with her boyfriend's family.

Season 1

Stuntin' Like My Daddy

Ethan introduces himself to Kat Hernandez in biology class, she jokes that he looks like a school shooter. Although taken aback, Ethan plays along and the two become acquainted.

Kat Hernandez

Ethan was in a relationship with Kat Hernandez, whom he has shown an interest in since the first day of school. They officially got together at the winter formal.

During the entirety of Season 1 Ethan was flirting with Kat and the two seemed to share the same feelings. However, Kat kept distancing herself and rejecting him and it's revealed in the last episode that she did so out of fear to get close to someone and get hurt. He then promises he'll make sure he is the one getting hurt and they kiss.

In Season 2 they are officially a couple but Kat doesn't reciprocate Ethan's feelings and feels miserable in their relationship, due to her own personal problems. She decides to end their relationship on episode 6 by trying to gaslight him into breaking up and lying about being sick. Ethan realises what she was trying to do and breaks up with her, deeply disappointed by her dishonesty.
